It's a blessing to share that Kaitlyn and Forrest will be getting married on the beautiful private farm pictured below, owned by the Winget family. Kaitlyn began riding horses on the farm, owned by Susan and Al Winget, over fourteen years ago. She spent her high school years competing across the Carolina's with two of the Winget's beloved horses, Wahoo McAllister and Fiora. Through a shared passion for horses, bloomed a beautiful friendship between the Buchko and Winget families. Today their friendship is more akin to that of family. In fact, on Forrest's first trip down from Michigan to South Carolina to visit Kaitlyn, she made sure that one of their first stops was at the Winget's to introduce him to Mrs. Susan and Mr. Al. Since then Forrest has spent his fair share of time out at the farm. Whether it's attending a birthday dinner or just putzing around the barn at feed time with Ms. Buchko, Forrest has always felt welcomed and embraced by the Winget family. The farm is where Kaitlyn and Forrest got engaged in May of 2023, and now it's where they're getting married! Both the wedding and reception will take place in one of the front fields on the property.
