We ask that guest wear cocktail wedding attire. Get dressed up with us and wear your snazziest suit, dress, or dressy jumpsuit. There is no need to wear a full tux (unless you want to), but please refrain from wearing jeans, shorts, or t-shirts. The ceremony and reception will take place outside, in grass, so plan shoes accordingly!

September is the first month that provides some “relief” from the summer heat in South Carolina. The average high is 83°F/28°C and the average low is 62°F/16°C! Our wedding is on the last weekend of the 2025 summer season so, for all of our northern guests, don't pull out your sweaters just yet!

Should we have rain on the day of the wedding, it will still take place at Winget farm and we will move the ceremony and reception to an enclosed tent.

Absolutely! When you pull into the venue we will have individuals, as well as signs, ready to direct you on where to park.

We have reserved room blocks at two hotels, the Hilton Garden Inn Gastonia and the Marriott Courtyard Charlotte Gastonia. There are links to reserve a room in one of our room blocks on the Travel page of our website.

Our wedding is taking place on a private family farm and because of this we will not be posting the address online. Please refer to your invitation for the address.
